The ghost of purchases past........

Be brave.  Face that stash pile.  Open your eyes.  What do you see?  Endless possibilities?  Mounds of mismatched and disparate textiles?  Maybe a bit of both!

EYES WIDE OPEN!

Let's resolve to cull that stash pile.  Send your discards to those who will love it anew.  Embrace (REALLY embrace) the cuts left behind.  Dream and create.  Cut and sew.  Wear and regale.

Here are a couple of my most treasured cuts.  By the end of January (this blog post is my witness) I will have no fewer than 2 garments made (it helps that Scandal is on hiatus til then!).....

It's been a long long time....

But now that I have a few extra moments of free time in my days (ha ha ha!) I thought I might turn my gaze back to sewing - not just thinking and talking about sewing - but actually putting a needle through fabric!

And to keep me on track I am seriously thinking about joining Sarah Gunn (hmm - sistah or cuz of Tim??) and her latest "Ready to Wear Fast"!
