Welcome to Capitol Sew and Sew - a site devoted to nurturing the next generation of sewers, knitters and crocheters - or to re-engage those who have stitched in the past and want to start again.

Visit DC Threads, founded in 2008 to help keep the art of sewing & stitch crafts alive and well in the District of Columbia. The DC Threads website and the monthly sewing lounge offer resources for local sewing enthusiasts to learn more about their craft and share skills with others.
